Before and after school care provided for Hooverville Elementary, Summitview Elementary, Fairview Elementary, and local private schools.
Our teaching approach in the school-age classroom is grounded in routine, structure, and consistency. We create a predictable environment where students know what to expect, which helps them feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. Clear expectations, consistent procedures, and positive guidance allow our learners to develop independence while still feeling supported.
Before Care: Arrival, Alone Zone time, Bus preparation, and coloring/quiet activities.
Morning: Breakfast, Morning Meeting, Center Rotation, Bus Dismissal.
After Care: Arrival, Snack, Afternoon Meeting, Center Rotation, Alone Zone/Coloring activities.
The classroom is thoughtfully organized to promote routine, structure, and consistency while still allowing flexibility. Private seating is valued and offered so students can choose spaces that best support their focus, comfort, and learning styles.
