CCIS / Child Care Works

Financial assistance may be available to help cover the cost of child care

About Child Care Works

Child Care Works (CCW) is Pennsylvania’s subsidized child care program administered through your local ELRC (Early Learning Resource Center). It helps eligible families pay for child care so parents can work or attend education/training programs.

Waynesboro Early Learning Center accepts Child Care Works subsidies. If you qualify, the subsidy pays a portion of your child care costs, and you pay a weekly copay based on your family’s income and size.

How to Apply

  1. Contact ELRC Region 6 to find out if you are eligible
  2. Complete the application process with your ELRC caseworker
  3. Once approved, let us know and provide your subsidy information
  4. You will be responsible for your weekly copay as determined by ELRC

  • Transportation fees (e.g., to/from Fairview Ave Elementary) are in addition to CCW/ELRC Subsidy Copay
